Biography

Dalina identifies as a first-generation college student and proud Asian-American. She is a 3rd year majoring in Financial Mathematics and Statistics and minoring in Educational Studies from Long Beach, California. Currently, she is involved in different cultural organizations and will be joining different professional clubs this year. She hopes to get involved with research in mathematics, statistics, or education this upcoming school year and also looking into various internship opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Dalina is excited for another year at the OSC as a Lead Peer Mentor.

Everyone works and grows at a different pace, so let time do its thing! Remind yourself that you deserve to be here and be proud of what you have accomplished. This is your experience so make the most of it by trying new activities, meeting new people, joining new clubs, basically whatever your heart desires! Remember to make good memories and use all the amazing resources UCSB has to offer.
