UC Santa Barbara’s ONDAS Student Center promotes academic success and retention by supporting first year undergraduate students through mentoring, tutoring, peer support for targeted courses, and community building events for first generation students. ONDAS also enhances connections between undergraduates and faculty through a distinguished speaker series and “fireside chats” where faculty candidly share their life lessons and experiences with students, as well as faculty professional development related to learning, teaching, and diversity issues. Gifts to the ONDAS Success Center provide the critical resources and programming that ensures student success.
