Throughout our lives, we were taught to venture out our answers instead of asking for help. However, this is simply false. As being the first child to go to college, it is important to consistently ask for help and having a mentor who will constantly check-in with you. Building these relations and connections will benefit you in the long run by relying on the resources around you and the people who will continue to support you. "
